I've been high on Gonzalez since the beginning. Witherspoon's tackling ability and coverage skills are enticing. But I think Gonzalez has the higher ceiling due to his athleticism. He profiles more as a true outside corner as well.
Absolutely! I really like Witherspoon, but I am a little concerned if he’s really going to be able to settle in long term as an outside CB. Between the shorter stature and lesser deep speed (he’s not slow, just not sure he’s a burner), feels like he could end up in the slot long term. Which is still very useful, and needed! I’d just prefer the clear cut outside CB who also plays at a very high level.

Genuinely won’t take too much to get there. Have to imagine they sign a veteran FA or two at the spot, even if one is a depth add like Mike Hughes.
