Dropping a Predictive Mock Draft instead of the Darnell Wright post as I simply have not had the time to do a scouting report lately. Will need to get caught up with next week’s reports over this weekend. Will circle back to Wright later.
We explored one of these already in a draft that landed us two impact Georgia Bulldog defenders, and now we take a look at a handful of others who fit the generic molds we loosely use.
For this one, I am using the latest seven-round mock draft from ESPN’s Jordan Reid as the basis for the selections being made. Which is to say, I will be changing his picks for Detroit, but going off of all his other picks nonetheless to determine who is available and who isn’t.
One final reminder: I do not repeat players in these. So Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Sam LaPorta, Hendon Hooker, Garrett Williams, Eric Gray, Antoine Green, and Jordan Howden are not eligible for consideration, no matter how tempting they may be.
